The Downton Grey Grand Library Bookcase is the ultimate bookcase with three large bookcase bays each with fully height adjustable shelves. It provides ample display space for all your books and cherished ornaments. It looks great filled with an assortment of pictures, books and photo frames.
The grand bookcase has fifteen open shelves, twelve of these shelves are height adjustable in three stages which allows you to configure your bookcase to perfectly suit your displayed items. There are also three drawers at the bottom which provide additional storage options.
The bookcase is painted in a warm light grey colour with a satin paint finish and the oak top and shelves have a beautifully contrasting natural light to medium oak colouring, the oak has a protective satin lacquered finish that is both hard-wearing and maintenance free. The Downton grey paint is a beautifully warm neutral grey colour that looks fabulous with lots of white or darker contrasting walls.
This grey bookcase is skilfully hand made with traditional time honoured construction methods using a combination of high quality North American solid oak for the top frame, thick oak veneer in the top panel, solid pine for the body frames and man-made board for selected panels for increased durability and stability over time.
The Downton Grey painted range has a simple yet stylish designs make this range stand out from the rest, with the grey painted bodies, 40mm thick oak tops and tapered feet.
