The oak has a hand applied whitewash limed oak finish that really brings out the natural beauty in the oak grain. The limed oak finish oozes character and is achieved by hand rubbing white wax into the oak grain and it is then finished with a protective matt lacquered finish that is hardwearing and maintenance free.

This limed oak finish looks great in home decors with neutral and pastel coloured interiors. It is equally at home in both a modern home as much as it is in a traditional country cottage due to the timeless classical styling.

This furniture is designed and built to last, it features thick oak tops and frames that sit on beautifully tapered feet. Not only is this furniture beautiful to look at it is backed up by its premium quality.

The Cheshire Limed Oak furniture range is skilfully hand made with traditional time honoured construction methods. Made using a combination of high quality North American solid oak, thick oak veneers and pine to ensure strength and durability in the construction. The drawers feature dovetail joints for increased strength and drawer stops to prevent you from accidentally pulling the drawers all the way out.

This range is supplied with a choice of two handles, you can choose to use either the round brushed steel handles or matching limed oak handles. The choice is yours to use the handle that you prefer most as they both look great.

What is Limed Oak?
Liming oak is a wood preservation process that involves treating oak with a liming paste or wax that gives a white washed and slightly distressed finish, perfectly highlighting the grain in the wood.

How do I keep it clean?
We've made our Limed Oak furniture maintenance free by coating it in a protective satin lacquer that perfectly accentuates the natural grain of the oak. If you would however like to periodically clean your furniture then you can use most household furniture sprays along with a clean cloth. Be sure to read the label of your chosen product to ensure it is applied correctly.
