Marble Care Instructions

Daily Cleaning - Wipe the surface with warm water and a soft microfiber cloth to remove dust and debris. Use a pH-neutral cleaner or mild dish soap diluted in water - avoid acidic or abrasive cleaners like vinegar or bleach, as they can etch the marble.

Sealing & Protection – When you receive your kitchen island we recommend you apply a high-quality marble sealant and then reapply it every 6-12 months to protect against moisture and stains. As with all natural stone it is porous meaning it can absorb liquids and stain if not properly sealed. Always use coasters, mats and cutting boards to prevent scratches and heat damage. Do not place hot cookware and pans directly onto the marble top without using a heat resistant mat. 

Stain Removal - To remove organic stains (coffee, wine, food), we recommend using a marble cleaning spray, for oil-based stains (grease, cosmetics), use a baking soda based cleaning spray and let it sit before wiping clean. These marble cleaning solutions are widely available online or in a supermarket.

Polishing & Restoration - To maintain its shine, use a marble-specific polish occasionally. If the surface becomes dull or etched, professional honing and resealing may be required.
