Choose vintage ornaments that feature town scenes, carol singers, churches and nativity scenes and add in plenty of candles for a soft and welcoming ambiance.

Instead you could opt for a sleek and contemporary Christmas look that is in keeping with the rest of your decor but still provides a cosy and festive feel within your home. Decorate your Christmas tree with a variety of metallic and glittery ornaments in gold, silver or rose gold and add plain white twinkling fairy lights for a sparkling diamond effect finish. Add a glitter garland to your fireplace area and add some heart shaped lights, calligraphy style signs and some gorgeous stockings in glitter or felt finishes with personalised initials and faux fur trims that will look great in any living room area. Decorate your dining table with some stylish gold or silver crockery and wine glasses and include a centrepiece made from a clear glass bowl filled with glitter baubles and fairy lights for a bright and elegant finish.
