If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, we will be happy to arrange the return of your goods and issue a refund minus 30 per order to cover the return carriage cost.

We always quality check your furniture before it leaves the warehouse in our efforts to provide great customer service. If for some reason you receive it faulty or damaged please let us know within 14 days of taking delivery by emailing returns@thefurnituremarket.co.uk

Returning an Item is easy just follow the easy 3 step process...

Step 1: Email your request to return your product to: returns@thefurnituremarket.co.uk

Email Checklist: Include the following information in your email:

Receipt number Found on the top of your receipt that you were given on delivery

Full Name & Collection address This is the address that you want us to collect the item from

Contact numbersHome & Mobile numbers required

Email addressSo we can email you to say when we plan to collect the item from you

If an item is faulty then please attach a photo of the defect We need a photo of the defect to help us understand the problem and gauge if a repair or replacement is necessary

Step 3: We take care of the rest

Once you have emailed us to request an item to be returned by emailing: returns@thefurnituremarket.co.uk

One of our customer service team will contact you to arrange the collection date

When we get the items back, we contact you to advise a refund has been issued. Your refund will show on your card within 3 to 5 working days usually.

Returns - Terms & Conditions

You can cancel your order at any time up until dispatch to secure a full refund. If your furniture has been dispatched you will have received an email from us, If your items have been dispatched you will receive a refund minus the 30 charge of returning the goods to our warehouse. You have the right to cancel your order with 14 days from delivery without any charge, the only liability you have is the return charge of 30 per order.

If you have reported your goods are faulty then we will arrange a collection and replacement free of charge, however if you do not want a replacement and wish to return your item, it is classed as a cancelled order and will therefore incur a 30 return charge which is the direct cost for us to collect your item and return it to us. In this event you will receive a full refund minus 30.

Please note that all products that are being returned must be in the original packaging and the furniture is in the same condition as it was delivered in. We must be notified of any modifications to an item in an attempt to repair, assemble or disassemble or make good any perceived faults or defects, that you or someone acting on your behalf undertake Before you carry them out in order to best advise you on any procedure. We may ask you to take a picture in order for us to better understand the situation and advise you further on a course of action. In any and all events we recommend you keep the packaging until you are sure you want to keep the furniture.

If products are not returned in the original packaging, then we reserve the right to enforce a repackaging fee of 10% of the order value up to 100 per order is applicable. Unless you have opted for the premium delivery service for an extra 30 at check out, where we have removed the packaging for you as part of the service.

We cover the country in a maximum 3 week rota so this is the maximum time that you would have to wait to have your goods collected for return or replaced.

All returns or replacements are to and from the original delivery address as stated on the original order. If goods are subsequently moved from the original delivery address and were signed upon receipt as being in satisfactory condition, we are not liable for any further damage reported where it is not clear if the item could have been damaged by a 3rd party removals or courier company.

You have the right to cancel your order at any time prior to dispatch of your goods without incurring any charges (you will be emailed confirmation when your items are dispatched), however if you cancel your order once your goods are dispatched and in transit you will be liable to the return charge of 30 as this is the cost of bringing the goods back to our warehouse.

If an item has been delivered then you are still liable to a 30 return charge for us to collect your goods for return. You will be refunded the value of the items you purchased minus 30 (If you have paid for the premium delivery service at 30 then this is non refundable in the event of an order cancelation/return as it is a fulfilled service that is independent to the product that you ordered).

Refunds are only issued once we have possession of the returned goods and after they have been inspected by our returns department to ensure that they are in the same condition as they were delivered. Once a refund is issued it can take 2-5 working days to appear in your bank account.

We cannot handle you return request over the phone, it must be sent by email to returns@thefurnituremarket.co.uk and the above steps taken to ensure the collection of your goods.
