Construction
All our collection is constructed using thick wood for the frames and panels which are black painted, they are made to look good and most importantly be strong and sturdy. This is very important as once the mirrored glass panels are fixed to the frames the furniture becomes much heavier. If the frames are not made correctly using strong materials then the furniture will be flimsy and unsteady. We know of a competitor that uses cheap flimsy wood for the frames with a view of cutting costs, but we all know this means cutting corners and that the furniture will not last long. It is easy to spot a poorly made piece just by moving them around and by opening and closing the drawers you will soon get a feel for the quality.
Mirrored Glass Panels
The most important part of your piece is the mirrored glass panels, after all this is what you are looking at. All our collection is manufactured using extra thick crystal clear glass for the panels, this gives it extra strength and helps protect it against cracks for when you knock or drop things on your furniture. All our mirrored panels have sharp bevelled edges, this is the key to a great looking piece of furniture. Be aware of retailers offering similar looking items with thin glass panels, remember the thinner the glass panel the easier it cracks. Also some cheap mirror furniture has a greenish tint in the glass panels, beware of pieces with this discolouration in the glass as it represents poor quality glass selection and gives the furniture a dull look.
Drawer Runners

This way during transit by our own specialist delivery team we can ensure no breakages occur. Quality Control

Delivery

We also offer a premium £30 delivery charges which includes any assembly of an item if needed and removal of packaging once your item is installed to your requirements. Assembly
Most of our furniture is delivered fully assembled, however there are only a few things that require minor assembly, such as some of the mirrored dressing tables and mirrored bedsides that just require the legs bolting on. If this is the case the product listing will state that the items requires minor assembly. Don't worry though, you don't need to be a trained mechanic to bolt legs on, its very easy and all instructions and parts are included. Its always good practice to assemble furniture on a carpeted floor as its soft and protects the glass when its tipped upside down. Do not try to assemble a piece on wood or stone flooring as if you accidentally drop it you could crack it. Some items such as Mirrored wardrobes do require more assembly and we advise a two man delivery and assembly service for products like this as our delivery men are trained and make these jobs easy. If you are totally against assembling furniture then you can select our 2 man delivery and assembly service at checkout and then you won't have to touch anything, they would delivery, unpack and assemble your furniture in the room of your choice and then take away the packaging.
Handles
This is the most important piece of assembly information you need to read, one of the most common faults caused is cracked drawer fronts due to handles being screwed on too tightly. Many items are supplied with the handles on the inside of the drawers, this is to protect them from being knocked in transit. If this is the case then please try to resist using a screw driver to tighten the handles up as this can cause the handle and bolt to squash the glass causing it to crack. This is immediately evident if a crack appears from the handle hole in the front of the drawer face. The best advice is to tighten them up finger tight and use the clear rubber washer between the metal coupling on the handle and the glass drawer front. This cushions the handles nicely against the drawer front and prevents the glass from cracking.
Cleaning
As with all high gloss surfaces dust soon becomes evident, we can't get rid of household dust but we can easily clean our furniture. Its easy, you can use normal household products such as glass cleaner, dusters etc, it doesn't take much effort to get your furniture shining again.
Care
If you have to assemble your mirrored furniture then ensure that you do this on a soft floor surface (i.e rug or carpet with an old blanket down for protection against any marks on your floor. This will also protect the glass panels from scratching and also any hard surfaces from knocking against the glass causing it to crack. DO NOT assemble your furniture on light coloured carpet as the mirrored furniture may mark it due to the frames being painted black and there sometimes may be a powdery residue left on the frames. If you are going to place your mirrored furniture on a light coloured carpet then always check and wipe the legs to clean them if necessary prior to it coming into contact with any surfaces. NEVER drag the furniture across your floor.
